Designing spaces
that feel inevitable.

LID Studio is a Stockholm-based design practice working across architecture, interiors and objects for private clients and international projects.

Principles

Three quiet
commitments.

I.

Curious beyond the brief.

Curiosity is where every project begins. By asking better questions, challenging assumptions and looking beyond the obvious, uncover opportunities that create stronger concepts, more meaningful spaces and greater value.

II.

Design with identity.

A space should express more than style. It should reflect the people, culture and values behind it, creating environments that feel authentic and memorable.

III.

Beauty that works.

Strong concepts deserve thoughtful execution. By combining creative ambition with architectural and technical expertise, every detail is designed to perform as beautifully as it looks.

Object — N° 01

Romanesco,
a stool.

A three-legged stool cast in aluminium — a contemporary reading of the classical archetype, shaped by the fractal geometry of the natural world.

“We asked for a restaurant. He gave us a room people would remember for years.”

Founder

Founded by
Rasmus Brelid.

Rasmus Brelid is an architect and designer with more than a decade of experience across Scandinavia's leading architecture and design firms.

He trained and led design at several of Stockholm's most established architecture and interiors practices before founding LID Studio.

His work spans restaurants, hotels, workplaces, residential developments and private homes — each project shaped by the same commitment to proportion, material and atmosphere.

He designs from the inside out — beginning with how a room should feel at its quietest moment, and letting the plan follow from there.
